Does the call of duty modern warfare 2 night vision goggles work?

Good question. I think it depends on what you need from the goggles. Call of Duty makes The Prestige Edition costing over $100.00. Yes, they are real Goggles. However, these are not U. S. military grade goggles. The maximum range is about fifty (50) feet, they are without doubt made of materials different from the U.S. military grade goggles. The standard issue U.S. military NVG, used by the U. S. Army is a one lens system.

They market for several thousand Dollars, so, no the Prestige version will not contain those lens. These goggles gather and concentrates light, in my opinion, which increases the ability to see in the dark by making objects seem brighter. These goggles, by the looks of them are powered by a battery pack that is secured to one’s head.

Once again, in my opinion, and I am not an expert, they will work to a certain extent, however, they are not as good as more expensive goggles, costing $200.00 to $300.00. These goggles are like a toy that works with limited capacity. I have seen kids use these and enjoy them, however, they knew and understood exactly what they were, that is a toy, not a government issue NVG. With that thought in mind, they do work, and kids seem to have fun using them. Good luck, it is all up to you, as to what are your reasonable expectations.
